This USB hub makes charging in my Tesla feel far more organized. It fits neatly in the center console and looks like part of the original design. The retractable cable is especially handy for keeping cords from tangling or cluttering the front area. Fast charging works well for both phones and accessories. It is a simple upgrade that adds functionality without sacrificing the minimal interior aesthetic.
Nice fit. But not a fast charge
Installs in seconds: slide it in position and plug in the two USB-C plugs into the sockets inside the compartment. One USB-C and one Lightning pull-out charging cords, one USB-A and one USB-C ports: there's charging for the whole family! I love the simplicity and versatility of this small gadget. It takes up very little space and the 30+" winder cords are so convenient! The winders work great.There is a fancy "Tesla" lighted sign in the center of the bar, it can be replaced with other included plates (T logo, solid) but there are no instructions on how to do it.The best part is always having a charging cable ready without any messy cables lying around, so if you like to keep a neat car, this is for you!
This is a must-have for your Tesla Model 3/Y! While I love the idea of the wireless charging spots in my Model Y, they are not strong enough to charge newer phones quickly, and the USB-C ports in the center console are at an awkward angle to use a regular cable for charging. This seamlessly fixes that problem with 90-degree plugs that you install once and don't need to mess with each time. The retractable cables let you charge phones while still using them, and they store away neatly when not in use. The charger looks like it was meant to be there, and it doesn't block access to the rest of the console. I haven't tried charging more than two phones at a time, but with two phones connected, they were both charging quickly with no problems.
